It can serve as the main power switch for devices such as motors, frequency converters, and control cabinets. During equipment commissioning, maintenance, and shutdown for repair, the circuit breaker can reliably cut off the power supply, creating a safe isolation point to ensure the safety of operators during maintenance operations. When a motor operates under long-term overload conditions or the equipment gets stuck with excessive load causing the circuit current to exceed the limit, the circuit breaker will trip through overload delay protection to prevent the motor winding and power cables from overheating and burning out, thus avoiding the automatic equipment from stopping due to electrical faults and getting damaged. In the event of insulation breakdown of the circuit, short circuit of the wiring, or breakdown inside the frequency converter, the circuit breaker can instantly break the large current, suppress the short-circuit arc, and protect the motor, drive module, and the entire automated control system from being broken or damaged.
