What is a two-pole circuit breaker?

A two-pole device operates two conductors together. CQB58 has a fixed 2P1E arrangement, so the buyer must confirm exactly which conductor is protected and how both conductors are switched in the intended system.

Does 2P1E mean the same as a standard double-pole MCB?

Not automatically. 2P1E identifies the published pole-and-element arrangement of CQB58. Do not assume identical protection in both poles without confirming the product diagram and application requirements.

What does kA mean on a circuit breaker?

kA normally describes short-circuit interrupting capacity, but CQB58 currently publishes a 1.5kA rated short-time-current value. That wording must not be re-labelled as a verified high breaking-capacity claim.

Would a higher kA rating make CQB58 a better choice?
