What is the PXB9L-40 RCBO?

How does the PXB9L-40 RCBO work?
A thermal-magnetic mechanism responds to overload and short-circuit conditions, while the residual-current function monitors imbalance between conductors and trips when the applicable threshold is reached. It does not remove the need for correct earthing, circuit design or testing.
How is the PXB9L-40 RCBO different from an MCB or RCCB?
