Key parameters include a rated insulation voltage of 500V and impulse withstand of 4000V, enabling operation in low-voltage networks up to 230/400V. The breaker’s short-circuit capacity reaches 4500A (Icn and Ics), with high mechanical durability exceeding 10,000 cycles and matching electrical life for frequent use. Tripping curves—B for resistive applications (3-5In), C for inductive loads (5-10In), and D for high-inrush scenarios (10-20In)—allow optimization for specific setups. Its modular design with 45mm terminal distance ensures compatibility with standard DIN rails, while IP20 enclosure protects against solid intrusions in clean settings.

 

Tripping Characteristics and Performance

Referenced at 30°C, the PXB2-63 delivers accurate protection: non-tripping at 1.13In for up to 1h (cold start), but activation at 1.45In within 1h following. Magnetic response at 2.55In occurs in 1-60s for ≤32A or 1-120s for >32A, with controlled 5s current rise. Instantaneous limits include non-trip at 3In (B), 5In (C), 10In (D) for ≤0.1s, and trip at 5In (B), 10In (C), 20In (D) under 0.1s via auxiliary activation. This enables effective selectivity in distributed systems. Wiring supports copper conductors from 1mm² (≤6A) to 16mm² (≤63A), with compact per-pole width of about 18mm for panel efficiency.
