The circuit breaker is an important distribution control and protection device in photovoltaic power generation, energy storage, new energy charging stations, wind power and other new energy systems. It can be used as a power isolation switch for the AC and DC sides of new energy equipment, reliably interrupting circuits during equipment inspections, component maintenance, and power station operation, forming a clear electrical break point to ensure the safety of maintenance personnel. When photovoltaic arrays, energy storage batteries, charging stations, etc. operate for a long time at high power and cause line overload, the circuit breaker will delay tripping to prevent insulation damage, thermal runaway, and even fire and explosion of cables, junction boxes, and battery clusters due to overheating. In case of wiring errors, cable damage, or internal equipment faults causing short circuits, the circuit breaker can quickly cut off the short-circuit high current, suppress high-temperature arcs, and prevent expensive equipment such as photovoltaic modules, energy storage converters, and charging modules from being broken and damaged. Circuit breakers with leakage and residual current protection functions can promptly monitor leakage faults on the DC or AC side and prevent electric shock accidents in outdoor humid environments.
