Commercial buildings
The circuit breaker is a crucial electrical protection and control device in the power distribution system of commercial buildings. It can serve as a manual on-off switch for each power distribution circuit, reliably cutting off the power supply during equipment maintenance, shop renovations, and line maintenance, creating a clear electrical isolation and ensuring the safety of workers. When electrical equipment such as lines, central air conditioning, elevators, lighting, and large-power kitchen appliances operate simultaneously and overload occurs, the circuit breaker will trip after a delay to prevent cable and busbar insulation aging due to long-term overheating and cause electrical fires. In case of a short circuit accident caused by line damage or equipment failure, the circuit breaker can instantly cut off the faulty circuit to prevent the arc generated by the large short-circuit current from damaging the power distribution equipment and igniting surrounding materials. Circuit breakers with leakage protection function can also promptly detect potential hazards such as leakage of the equipment casing or leakage of lines in damp areas, and quickly cut off the power to avoid electric shock injuries to personnel.
