CQ-T2-DC Series Surge Protection Device (SPD)

The CQ-T2-DC series surge protection device (SPD) is designed by CHAC Electric for protecting DC power supply systems from surge damages. It features a pluggable module design, making installation and maintenance convenient. With high discharge capacity and quick response characteristics, it effectively protects against transient over voltages. The SPD is equipped with double thermal disconnection devices, enhancing the reliability of protection.

Surge Protector Technical Description‌

This series of surge protection devices (SPDs) features an innovative design. Its multifunctional terminal blocks support quick and reliable connection of conductors to copper busbars, significantly improving electrical construction efficiency. When the system detects a fault, the device’s built-in green status indicator window immediately changes color, and a fault signal is output through an independently configured remote alarm terminal, ensuring that operation and maintenance personnel have real-time access to the device status. This product was developed specifically for lightning protection zones LPZ 0B-1 and above. It is suitable for use as a Class II (Class C) pluggable SPD in various DC power systems. Its design fully complies with the strict requirements of the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC 61643-1 and the Chinese national standard GB 18802.1.
